A recreation of an original painting by Alexander Koester. I first saw a Koester painting in a museum at Texas A&M University and fell in love with his beautiful work. Many of his ducks are painted in shades of blue, but I loved the warm golden tones of this piece in particular.

The Sing-along
What could be more story book than an old fashioned sing-along? This western setting features me playing guitar for my two oldest children.

Prairie Girl
In this recreation, fields of red color enhance the tranquil scene. As a former basket weaver, I was excited to paint the two interesting baskets atop the horse.

Spice Boat
This is rendition of a boat I imagined to be emerging from a cavern, carrying spices to Asian ports.
